The Autism Summer

If you know me, you know how difficult the journey has been for me and my family since the diagnosis. The tears are real, the loss of sleep is unreal, but the growth is unimaginable.


Sleeping in bunk beds and without mom and dad has happened, swimming without floaties is a thing now, and no more milk in sippy cups is how my family has grown. There are still rough days and days when medicine and all the supplemental aides don't work, but I have to remain hopeful and pray for my little guy who isn't far from being a man.


God, continue to bless us and help us grow.
