Let me introduce myself...

Hi! My name is Priscilla, and

I am a veteran educator. I love fishing, spending time at the beach, hunting, and of course creating amazing dishes from the day's catch/ hunt.

I love guiding my students into finding new ways to become successful. My approach is to have fun and to keep everyone in my class safe and relaxed. I go to the extremes of making my classroom my home by projecting a warm fire and dimming the lights for paragraph practice, sharing a beachy background to transform into a tranquil work space, and encouraging team work by changing things up. I have taught ELA in Texas for 10 years for grades 8-11, but have created lessons and activities for grades 6-7, as well.
